Running a home in Chicago means dealing with a lot of mess. The winter salt gets dragged into the hallway carpet. The spring pollen blows off Lake Michigan and settles deep into your rugs. By autumn, dry leaves and dirt are everywhere. When your floor machine stops picking up, you need a reliable vacuum cleaner shop in Chicago that can fix the mess fast.

We have been fixing and selling floor sweepers in the Windy City for over thirty years. Whether you live in a high-rise in the Loop, an old brownstone in Lincoln Park, or a bungalow in Logan Square, we know the exact floor dirt problems you deal with every single week.

“People come in all the time thinking they need to throw away a three-hundred-dollar machine just because it lost suction,” says Don.

“Nine times out of ten, we can clear a bad clog or replace a stretched belt right here in the shop, and that old sweeper runs like brand new again for a fraction of the price.”

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text disabled_on=”on|on|on” _builder_version=”4.16″ text_font=”||||||||” text_text_color=”#000000″ text_font_size=”16px” text_letter_spacing=”1px” header_font=”||||||||” header_2_font=”|700|||||||” header_2_text_align=”center” header_2_text_color=”#000000″ header_2_font_size=”38px” header_5_font=”|600|||||||” header_5_text_align=”center” header_5_text_color=”#000000″ header_5_font_size=”25px” header_5_line_height=”1.3em” background_layout=”dark” disabled=”on” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”et_body_layout”]

Miele Authorized Service

If you own a Miele, you know how well these machines trap dust. But even high-end German engineering needs a tune-up after a few years of sucking up Chicago hair and grit. As a certified Miele Authorized Service location, we use real factory parts to keep your high-end unit running right.

Many local folks bring their units in when the motor sounds high-pitched, or the bag light stays on. Sometimes it is just a tiny clog in the elbow wand. Other times, the HEPA filter is packed with fine dust from a recent home renovation in Bucktown. We fix it all using factory-approved tools, so you don’t void your factory warranty.

Common Miele Issues We Fix

- Loss of suction power on thick carpets

- Broken hose handles and cord retractors

- Burning rubber smells from jammed brush rollers

- Stuck power heads and broken wand clips

In-Store Vacuum Diagnostics

You do not have to guess what is wrong with your floor cleaner. Bring it straight to our counter for fast In-Store Vacuum Diagnostics. We check the whole system while you wait, or you can leave it with us while you grab a coffee down the block.

We check the suction strength at the base, inspect the motor brushes, check the electrical cords for safe wiring, and look deep inside the airways for hidden blockages. Chicago pet owners in Lakeview love this service because dog hair builds up fast inside the hidden tubes where you cannot see it.
[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.27.8″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”et_body_layout”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.8″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”et_body_layout” sticky_enabled=”0″]
Why Your Local Vacuum Cleaner Chicago Shop Matters

Buying a cheap box-store sweeper every two years gets real expensive fast. Most cheap units are made out of thin plastic that snaps the first time it hits the baseboard hard. A good local shop helps you pick a machine that actually fits your house setup.

If you have hardwood floors in Wicker Park, you need soft natural bristles so you don’t scratch the wood finish. If you have thick plush carpet in Irving Park, you need a machine with manual height adjustments so the motor doesn’t overheat while pushing through heavy fibers.

Quick Tips to Keep Your Sweeper Running Strong

- Change your dust bag when it gets two-thirds full, not when it is rock hard.

- Cut tangled hair off the brush roller every few weeks with scissors.

- Replace your exhaust filters once a year to protect the suction motor.

- Never run over heavy extension cords or wet bathroom mats.

Don’t throw away good appliances over a small glitch. Stop by our neighborhood store this week or call us to get your suction back where it belongs.
[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]
